The Church. Acts 2:41-47
The revival that occurred on Pentecost produced a great many converts. These converts who believed joined the group of Christians called the Church. At times the word “Church" means a specific group of Christians, while at other times it refers to the body of Christians as a whole. Many questions have arisen through the centuries of who is and isn’t the Church, which is and isn’t the Church, and even how and why the Church? Therefore let us look to the Bible for answers.
Who are those who make up the Church body? (v41)(I Corinthians 12:27-28;

Why did these people gather together? (v42)
